- Sirince Village
The village of Sirince is referred in ancient sources as the Ephesus on the mountain suggests long established settlement. Although there seems to be no concrete indication of how it came onto the stage of history, the dominant theory is that a small group of people who escape from the illnesses around Ephesus resettled on the mountain, following the fall of the city of Ephesus. The people might have preferred to move and settle in the mountains due to problems caused by the silting and the flooding of the river Meander. Today, it is a village still at the same location where you can discover typical Turkish village life and houses, besides that surrounded by olive groves, tangerine and fig gardens, and vineyards.

The museum rooms display excavations from the ancient city of Ephesus. You can see the best foundations of Ephesus. The collections contain household items, colossal statues of the Ephesian Artemis, a collection of medical and cosmetic tools along with a wall of portraits of several famous Ephesian physicians, several monumental fountains, sculptures from Roman times, coins and of course a modal of Temple of Artemis.
